Tools, technologies and devices for regenerative medicine (HEALTH.2011.1.4-2)

In our previous work we have clearly presented the proof of principle for angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo as a potential treatment of peripheral arteriosclerotic diseases. We have shown that culturing of patient-own endothelial and smooth
muscle cells is feasible, and can be used to develop smalldiameter vascular graft. Partners for a Leonardo project on innovation in agriculture

The Innovation Support Centre of Boerenbond, the Belgian Farmers Union,is interested in starting a Leonardo project on innovation in agriculture in order to exchange experiences in training and coaching of innovative farmers but also to exchange innovative developments.
The objective is to introduce innovation in agriculture on all possible fields such as sustainable energy, new forms of co-operation, sustainable technologies, organic production, processing at the farm, commercialization, C2C projects, etc. The organisation wishes now to develop a Leonardo da Vinci partnership project with as topic the Candidatures have to be sent before August the 31st. Green hydrogen project under the EUROGIA+ programme

A Spanish organisation is looking for an electric company, a chemical company or a petroleum company for a EUROGIA+ programme (EUREKA cluster) project dealing with green hydrogen. The aim is to achieve a process for optimizing hydrogen production to open a gap in the market at a competitive cost as well as generate various products (CO2, O2, short-chain hydrocarbons, organic acids, carbonates, etc.) depending on the type of electrode that is used and the electrolytic medium. Project on Engaging Early School Leavers

The Welsh Assembly Government is looking for European partners to participate in a project which aims to develop ideas and share good practice about approaches to engaging early school leavers (referred to as NEETs – not in education, employment, or training – in the UK ). Green Ships and Ports -project is searching for partners

Edinburgh Napier University from Scotland is looking for partners to submit a project under the Work Programme 2011 of the FP7. Progress call: Project on health inequalities

The Greater Manchester Commission for the New Economy in the North West of England is looking for European partners to exchange knowledge and best practice and to foster trans-national learning in the area of mental health and employment. They are currently preparing a project looking at health inequalities to submit to the PROGRESS call. The project aims at reducing health inequalities by increasing the numbers of people with mental health issues (mild to moderate) who stay in employment during periods of treatment. Partners for a INTERREG IVC -project

A local authority from Sutton is looking to submitting an application for INTERREG IVC with a project “Pathways to Zero Carbon´. The partners in the proposed project are looking to research and develop strategies to ensure that local authorities make a significant contribution to the EU´s 20-20-20 targets and that they achieve membership of the Covenant of Mayors. The main objectives of the project are:
- Identify best practice for municipalities to develop an overall CO2 baseline and projections of future CO2 emissions
- Identify best practice for municipalities to identify options to meet CO2 reduction target
- Disseminate the findings of the research and analysis to other parts of the EU

Angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo -project is looking for partners

University of Pecs is looking to submit a proposal under the HEALTH.2011.1.4-2 call. In their previous work, they have clearly presented the proof of principle for angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo as a potential treatment of peripheral arteriosclerotic diseases. In the present proposal, they would like to make a further step by using mesenchymal stem cells to develop a biodegradable vascular graft. They are now searching for industrial partners interested in the commercialization of the product. The university would like to find SMEs that have already practice with regenerative medicine in special with treatment of vascular diseases and local delivery of growth factors and angiogenic substances. ICT PSP 2011 Partner Search

The East of England Brussels Office is working with representatives from the private and research sectors to develop a project which we envisage submitting to a future ICT PSP call for “health´ proposals. The project relates to “positive patient identification´ and, in summary, is based upon the use of wireless technology and reusable wristbands to ensure patient safety in hospitals. It is envisaged that the project would be trialed in 4-5 hospitals, in different member states, as part of an envisaged future application to the ICT PSP. The French department ‘Saône et Loire´ is looking for partners wishing to develop an experiment on short circuit in agriculture. Saône et Loire is one of the biggest French departments by its agricultural area and is characterized by its varied, animal productions and crops and its unspoilt territory. In order to preserve and transmit this heritage, agricultural activity has to be maintained. Etruria Innovazione from Tuscany is searching for partners for a proposal to participate in the IEE call. The aim of the project is to start a small pilot plant for the production of biodiesel made from vegetable oils extracted from various kinds of seeds ( e.g. Sunflowers, Jatropha, Castor, Rape etc.). Lancashire County Council (North West England) is looking for partners for a project targeted towards the STEER (energy efficient transport) strand of the current Intelligent Energy Europe call. “Targeted promotion of cycling in cities with low to medium cycle use´ project seeks to reduce energy use by increasing cycling in small-to-medium sized cities with low or medium cycle use through the use of targeted promotion and new web-based media. Specific target groups will include children and young people, women, and newly-retired people.

Request for collaboration in a OECD Rural Development Programme

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and development (OECD) is searching for partners to participate in a project on the production of renewable energy as a regional development policy for rural areas. The participation in this project can assure promotion at international level of the regional policy in the field of renewable energy, the participation to one High Level Conference between Ministers, learning and comparison with other experiences, use the label of OECD in the organization of a regional event.
